Learning about trees and helping our world

Mr McNamara’s 4th class learned all about the trees we have around St. Conaire’s.  They discovered the lovely wooded area at the rear of the school has 13 different species.  They were helped in their discovery by Niamh from LEAF, Learning About Forests.  This work was undertaken in preparation for the planting of An Choill Bheag around the school.  This project is being facilitated by Coillte and Clare County Council.  More information to follow.
