Grandparents Day & St. Conaire’s Day 2025

Senior Infants welcomed their grandparents and other family members to St. Conaire’s for Grandparents Day 2025.  January 28th is also the feast day of St. Conaire, our patron saint.  Múinteoir Róisín and Múinteoir Aimee, along with SNA Nuala and Ms. White, did great work in organising the school hall and the classrooms for our special guests.  Fr. Michael also came to offer a special blessing.  The boys and girls of Senior Infants recited a poem and sang songs. They also had their art work on display in the assembly hall, in the school hallway and in their classrooms.  They took the time to give thanks for the wonderful gift of grandparents, those present with us, those who could not make it today and those who have passed away.  The Seniors joined in with Fr Michael to give a special blessing to their grandparents and families. We give thanks for them all and we remember them all.  Our celebration is part of Catholic Schools Week and our outreach to our local community.
