St. Conaire’s donates €700 to Irish Wheelchair Association

Pupils and staff from St. Conaire’s presented representatives of the Irish Wheelchair Association (Ennis) with a cheque for €700.  Four pupils from our 6th classes presented the cheque to representatives of the IWA; Catherine Earley, Manager IWA Ennis, Geraldine Gilligan IWA and Kevin Walsh, Bus Driver/Personal Assistant.  This amount was collected by the pupils and staff from the autumn no-uniform day.  We were delighted to be able to help out the IWA and its great work in Clare.  Each year we choose a charity connected to St. Conaire’s and we organise an event to support them.  We hope the money will support the work of the Irish Wheelchair Association.
