Mercy on the Mall 2016

St. Conaire’s School Choir, conducted by Ms. Cleary and accompanied by Ms. McDonagh, Ms. White and Mr. Pilkington, sang at the Mercy on the Mall event in Skycourt today, December 8 2016.  The 45 pupils and their teachers provided musical accompaniment to the opening of the Shannon Parish programme of confession, blessings and chat in the town centre.  Led by Bishop Fintan Monahan, over twenty priests met shoppers and visitors to Skycourt at various locations around the centre and brought a fresh approach to the traditional start to the preparations for Christmas.  The music added to the atmosphere of the event and many thanks to the choir and their teachers for their continued hard work and beautiful music.  Click here to see pictures from the day:  Mercy on the Mall with St. Conaire’s Choir
